"I'm a playmaker," Parker Proclaims

by: Mike Parker

Despite the fact that they might as well have handed out name tags at yesterday's practice in Renton, newly-signed receiver Samie Parker told Aaron Fentress of the Oregonian that he can be a force to be reckoned with.

"I bring big play-making ability," Parker said. "They have seen me play at Oregon and they know what I'm capable of doing."
Let's hope he can breathe more life into a passing attack that looked all but nonexistent on Sunday in Buffalo. And Parker's experience, coupled with Billy McMullen's, should give the younger duo of Logan Payne and Courtney Taylor some added inspiration.

Also, in mildly uplifting news, the Seahawks' medical staff has confirmed that Branch and Engram should be fine to return in Week 5 against the Giants. For a road game against the defending Super Bowl champions, we'll need all the ammo we can get. -END-
