The Hawks have released both Jordan Kent and Justin Forsett. Clearly this hope is that they will make through waivers and sign to the practice squad.
Clearly there will be other roster moves to follow. With Nate going on IR, the team only needed to release one player to activate Babs and Rocky.
Releasing Kent at this time is obviously a surprise, and Forsett too. The team is short at WR, and Forsett was next in line to return punts. Here is my thinking. The team needs vets. They are not comfortable with the number of young players they need to contribute. Clearly it lead to a crap the bed scenario under tough conditions in Buffalo. Hopefully, the next moves inspire some awe, because I know many of you will be very upset about this. ~END~
