Carlson Likely to Start

So says Clare Farnsworth of the PI. He has an article written suggesting that for the first time in the distinguished career of Mike Holmgren he will start a rookie tight end.

By all accounts Carlson is doing all the work necessary to ensure this status. However, lets remember that there is a reason no rookie tight end has ever started for Coach Holmgren too. Personally, I am not willing to anoint him the starter just yet.

However, I do think it is fair to say he is the future at the position. He seems posed to be a very good tight end for a long time. It is nice to hear about him fitting in well. I look forward to seeing him in game action.
