Jose Romero over at the Times has broken down the current depth chart and made a series of predictions as to how the final roster will turn out.
I can't speak for everyone of course, but it looks like his predictions are pretty realistic, if not solid. Then again, we could have some freak injur...well, nevermind, I'm not gonna go there. There will be no jinxing this year! (Tubbs, are you paying attention?! Good.)
One thing I noticed is Jose drops a name I hadn't heard up until this point - LB Wesly Mallard. Anyone know anything about the guy? He's apparently in competition with Lance Laury, DD Lewis and Will Herring for a backup job behind Lofa. Heavy competition much? Naaaah. Good luck on that one, Wes.
In other brief snippets, CJ Wallace is back in Seattle after his operation, and Holmgren also made his return to the sidelines. From the way Matt was joking about it, I'm taking bets as to whether or not Holmgren's problem had anything at all to do with his bowels. Just sayin'.
