I thought I would point this out. There is a short little article on profootballweekly, about the Seahawks success in drafting defensive tackles the last two years.
While it may be a bit premature to say Red Bryant will be as successful as Brandon Mebane in his rookie season, the team certainly has put a solid young core in place on the line. With Craig Terrill locked up, the team has three tackles to move forward with. However, with Tubbs and Bernard set to be free agents after this year, chances are the Hawks will be looking at DTs again next year. Good thing Ruskell seems to be pretty good at picking out instant contributers.
Speaking of Tim Ruskell, he talks about the importance of mini camps right here. He mentions that they are evaluating free agents and rookies, and talks a little about one of my big concerns, the o-line not being able to gel together. END.
