Bucs Paying Price for Recent Signing

by: Michael Steffes

Unless you missed it, you saw posted in several places, including this blog, that the Tampa Bay Bucs re-signed Jerramy Stevens. The troubled former first rounder of the Seahawks. Well, thankfully someone is holding them accountable. Who says sports radio does no good right?

On top of simply paying for the signing in the local media, it was also announced yesterday that Stevens will be suspended for the first two games of the season. He was suspended one game last year, which at the time I thought was a travisty, but what wasn't known was that he had appealed a three game suspension. Well.... appeal denied. Guess the Bucs should have considered that, but hey, whats a two game suspension when your turd collecting.

I wonder why the fans in Tampa are so upset, maybe it is because of stuff like this...

One resident woke to find his deck splattered with vomit. Another found used condoms. Others told of being awakened at 3 a.m. by loud fights, or were startled by strangers who partook of their patios. And they have had it. The noise, the fear and the man behind it — fifth-floor resident Jerramy Stevens.
