Thats what some of the Bears blogs are conjecturing... well, not exactly. In this story Grossman explains what he needs to do on Saturday night to be successful: “I’d love to get a couple touchdowns right away and get into a rhythm, move the chains and be efficient." What if he fails? Well, according to the #1 Bears Blog if he doesn't do precisely that, they don't expect him to win the starting job this year.
As a recent, but now former, resident of Chicago, let me in on a little secret: Grossman is not a very good quarterback. I know, I know, shocking, but alas, 'tis true. In fact, the Bears are not a very good team, and the only reason they get as much credit and publicity as they do, is because no one in Chicago knows how to keep their mouths shut. The ineptitude of the team's management has created controversy after controversy, constantly keeping them in the limelight.
As you may have guessed, no, I am not a Bears fan.
