The Seahawks are bringing in LS Bryan Pittman for a free agent visit, starting tomorrow and lasting through Saturday.
Pittman never missed a game through six seasons with the Texans until he was suspended by the NFL for violating its doping policy. Apparently the offense involved the use of a masking agent for steroids, and Pittman was part of the suspensions that also included Pat and Kevin Williams, Deuce McAllister, and Charles Grant.
Of all the positions to be using steroids, long snapper wouldn't be first on my list, but we aim to be different around here, don't we?
Anyway, it appears that Pittman and Mike Leach are in the running to be the Seahawks' next snapper. Still no word on Jermaine Phillips, and I'm getting antsy. -END-
