Laury and Lewis Re-Sign

As could rightfully have been expected, especially now with the chance to compete for a starting job, Seahawk UFA's DD Lewis and Lance Laury have inked new deals. Thanks to Danny 0'Neil for the scoop.

The team really had to have these two back. No details are available yet, but both players figure to play a more prominent role in the defense now. Laury is also a key special teamer, but like Niko and Bentley last year was discouraged by the strength of the unit in front of him. Now both he and Lewis have a chance to compete for the leading role, and a little competition never hurt anyone.
