Sizing Up NFC West CBs

by: Chris Sullivan

Mike Sando has a good article over on his blog about the NFC West cornerbacks and their size. No shock here, but Josh Wilson is the shortest CB in the West. Despite Wilson being a couple inches shorter than the bulk of the recievers he went up against, he still played quite well and proved that he could be an explosive playmaker at any point in any game. Over the last two years, Wilson has matured a great deal and even over last season you could see his technique getting markedly better. Could he stop Fitzgerald? No, but no one could last year. The bottom line is, with no pressure coming from the front seven it's hard to get a good read on how the secondary truly played. ~END~
