A quick break from the fun of Free Agency: the Tampa Tribune is reporting that three NFL players are on a boat that is currently lost at sea. While one player still appears unnamed,
The Coast Guard identified three of the missing boaters as Victor "Marquis" Cooper, Nick Schuyler and Corey Smith.
Cooper, 26, is a former University of Washington standout and was a third round draft pick by Tampa Bay in 2004. Cooper (6 foot 3 inches, 213 pounds) appeared in 26 games for Tampa Bay between 2004 and 2005 and finished with 27 tackles. He bounced around from Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Seattle in 2006 and played for Jacksonville and the Steelers in 2007.Our thoughts and prayers go out to the four currently lost; here's hoping they will be found safe soon. ~END~
