The Seattle Seahawks have signed DT Colin Cole to a five-year deal.
Schefter insinuates that the Seahawks are still going to go hard after Chris Canty, perhaps looking at Canty as a left end / DT this year before sliding him over to take Kerney's place when he departs. The Packers, who badly wanted Cole, will be aggressive in bringing in Canty now, but may need to focus their dollars elsewhere as Canty will be a fine DE in the 3-4 but would not suffice as a nose tackle, which was their intended role for Colin Cole. ~END~
