Thanks to my bro Tim for the update. The National Football post is reporting that the Seahawks and Housh have agreed to a multi-year contract. The NFP is suddenly down, but it should be back up. This is the NFP, mind you,and they're often wrong, so who knows.

Gonzo here - Houshmandzadeh is expected to sign the multi-year deal within the hour, which would be $2M more per year than the Vikings were willing to offer.
While the signing comes at no low cost, keep in mind that Ruskell & co were being criticized for not acting quickly enough in free agency and letting big names slip by. It seems the Seahawks' front office placed more value in securing a position that was decimated by injuries last year, which fits Ruskell's business model of fixing problems this team has.
ESPN has just confirmed Housh's decision here. -END (for now)-
EDIT: The deal will be a 5-year, $40 million contract with $15 million in guarantees.
